As a Corrections Officer, you have full access to the PD Armory. This does not mean you can use any item in there, you must follow strict guidelines which can be found in our main SOPs. Before starting any proper training with your cadet, ensure they have the following equipment:
  • Phone
  • Radio
  • Smart Watch
  • Coil Stun Gun (Taser)
  • VF Combat Pistol
  • Nightstick/Flashlight
  • DOC Badge
  • Government Issued ID
  • Pistol Ammo
  • First Aid Kits/IFAKs
  • Body Armour
  • Photo Camera
