Within the division, we have core values that we firmly believe in and value greatly. To strive towards and achieve an optimal work environment, it is of paramount importance that everyone follows these rules and guidelines set out. Anyone who is caught disregarding these rules/guidelines may receive disciplinary action up to, and including, dismissal from the division.

Respect Everyone

Respect your fellow officers at all times. Approach them in a respectful and professional manner. To add to this, you must respect the chain of command at all times. Respect Law Enforcement, State Officials, civilians and other government employees at all times.

No Insubordination

Insubordination will not be tolerated whatsoever. If someone with higher authoritative power gives you an order, you are to comply. If you have an issue with the order, or feel as if the individual was behaving in an immoral way, please forward concerns to a Supervisor. Never follow illegal orders.

Chain of Command

Chain of Command and other common questions should be filed through the proper channels of communication. The contents of this document should answer all questions you may have, however, if you have any additional questions, please reach out to an FTP Supervisor+.

Common Sense

Use your common sense. If you feel as if something may not be allowed, or may be wrong, ask a Supervisor. If you cannot get a supervisor, the answer is usually no.
