As a member of Field Training Command, you are able to host interviews. Trainers may also attend these interviews if they wish, and spectate in case of possible promotions to Field Training Supervisor in the future. Below is a question bank full of example questions you may use. You may follow these exactly, or you can be creative and make up your own questions. However, you must ensure you grasp a good understanding as to why the interviewee wants to join the Department of Corrections, understand what they hope to achieve, and ensure you have learned enough about them.

After you have completed the interview and you are satisfied with their answers, you can pass them. After passing them, you must assign them a callsign via the roster, give them their discord roles and update their status on the FTP Logger. You must also have them change their Unit ID - this can be done by doing ‘/unit_id [CALLSIGN]. Your callsign will be the 3 numbers after the letters in your badge number.  At this stage, inform them of the full training process, and that they will have 4 (four) weeks to complete it. If you are not satisfied, you have the ability to fail the interviewee if you do not believe they meet the standard we are looking for. If this is the case, make sure to properly and professionally inform them that they have failed, and they may try again within the next few weeks. If you have any questions, please contact FTP Command. No one under the rank of FTP Command is permitted to do interviews. Any Trainer can watch the interview. Those who are newly promoted to FTP Supervisor must be shadowed by a member of FTP Command whilst doing an interview for the first time.
